Sr. WebSphere Commerce Developer

NetSphere Strategies, a provider of SMART eCommerce solutions, has an opening for a full-time Sr. WebSphere Commerce ("WC") developer with: (1) eight or more years of Java/JEE and 4 years of WC experience; (2) a practitioner of SDLC methodology; (3) experience with Eclipse and Rational Application Developer tools; (4) full exposure to WC B2B, B2C, Web 2.0 starter stores. All work is conducted at our headquarters in the western suburbs of Chicago - no travel.

This is a Great Opportunity for a senior developer to develop dual skills in WebSphere Commerce and Apache ServiceMix/Camel/ActiveMQ for the commercial development of SaaS products for the Marketplace (Amazon, Buy, NewEgg, Sears) industry.

Sr. WebSphere Developer Responsibilities: customize WC sites based on requirements and direction from our clients and project leaders. The candidate will interact with internal technical staff to build new WC and Marketplace features, make contributions to our Best Practices and SDLC methodology, resolve technical issues, mentor junior developers and assist in sales efforts. Working knowledge of overall WC architecture, database schema and controller/task commands
Direct experience with WC subsystems (Catalog, Marketing, Payments, Promotions, Order Mgmt)
Strong UI/UX presentation skills is a plus
Full life-cycle development tools like CVS, Eclipse, IDE, RAD, RUP, UML
Customized Sales Center, Accelerator/Management Center, extended sites, B2B contracts, SEO
Integration skills with ERP adapters (JDE, SAP), JMS, SaaS, SOA, Web Services
